The Economic Development functions of five communities; the City of Abbotsford, City of Chilliwack / Chilliwack Economic Partners Corporation, City of Maple Ridge, District of Mission, and the Township of Langley have partnered, as the Fraser Valley Alliance (FVA), under the common goal of understanding the technology-sector to inform an investment attraction strategy for the region.

The FVA has engaged MDB Insight to develop a Technology Sector Capacity and Investment Attraction Strategy. This project aims to illustrate the region’s competitive advantages as a technology investment corridor by undertaking a comprehensive assessment to understand the sub-regional inventory of assets, local synergies, investment-ready capacity, and markets for Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) targeting within the technology sector.
